The Bruins scored six unanswered goals led by two from David Pastrnak, and Boston never looked back as they defeated the Washington Capitals 7-3.

Surprising blowout ever since Holtby left, the bruins have hit their stride against Washington and have started to beat them. For a while the caps owned them but good to see the bruins turn the tides

Those jeers for the last Caps PP at the end of the game were ruthless. Bruins spent most of the time in the Caps zone.

Even though it’s Marchand I’m happy for him for doing so well after his gruesome injury

Penalties killed the Caps momentum early on, and once the Bruins got going they steamrolled. Good game Boston, you guys seem to be hitting your stride. Caps in a bit of a slump.

The Bears are handsome. Despite the injury, Marchand admired his courage and continued to fight. The capitalists have 2 main problems, one in the absence of a reliable goalkeeper and the second more serious - these are the star strikers who do nothing at all in defense.

The Caps frequently played this bad back when I first moved to D.C. in 2006, too. Of course, the difference back then was I could usually walk up to the window and buy a ticket for whatever I happened to have in pocket.

Washington got embarrassed on home ice by Boston. Boston owns Washington now… it’s a new story.

Hate Marchand for playing dirty, but love him for his skills and trolling and I'm not even a Boston fan.

How tough is Marchand coming back after that brutal high stick! I loved when the announcer said he might have the "best mitts in all of hockey"! Wilson was a turnover machine in this one, uncharacteristic. I imagine the next game between these two he gets more involved physically early in the game.

Dowd tried to rip off Marchand's head. That must have been very painful. Dowd also received a slapshot from Pasta on the top of his kneecap . That too was very painful. Grzelyk had 8 points in the first 31 games. He had 5 points just in this game. Awesome ! Despite a bloody nose Marchand had two goals.
