The Sabres are a better team than the standings indicate. They've won 7 of the last 8 and some of the wins are against Winnipeg, Washington, Ottawa, and Tampa Bay. They're finally playing good hockey, probably too little too late, but now out of the basement.

It's that time again where we end our season like 12-2-1 making everyone think we may turn the page next season where we then have an okay slightly above .500 record by Thanksgiving only to blow our bootyholes out right after to then practically eliminate ourselves from Playoff contention by January. And it goes on, and on, and on... and and and

The Bruins have been so good for so long so it's odd to see them in an obvious rebuilding period. I think the loss of Bergeron was a big one. Saw him play live in Toronto and it was a treat seeing what he does even off the puck, having such good vision and instincts. The Fab 3 are now down to 1 and that's sad for hockey.
