Outstanding Breeding Bucks
Of Lamancha, Anglo-Nubian
Filipino dairy goat breeders who would like to improve their stocks could get outstanding young bucks from Mt. Carmel Mindanao Baptist Rural Life Center Goat Farm in Kinuskusan, Bansalan, Davao del Sur.
The MBRLC breeds the Rockin' CB and Lucky Star lines of Lamancha and the Six M Galaxy and Goldthwaithe families of Anglo-Nubians.
All of these breeding materials came from top Dairy Goat Farms in Oregon and Northern California.
Although there are no doelings left for sale, MBRLC Goat Farm has quite a number of young bucks which local goat breeders could use for upgrading.
I can vouch for the quality of these breeding lines because I personally picked them when I was Secretary of Agriculture.
The MBRLC was the first NGO-owned goat farm which received a grant from the Department of Agriculture to serve as a multiplier farm.
Since I was (and still) a goat breeder, I knew what outstanding lines to choose.
Today, even with local conditions and admittedly not so ideal feeds, the MBRLC milking does yield from 2 to 3 liters everyday.
The MBRLC, established by American Baptist Missionaries almost half a century ago, serves as a learning site for Filipino farmers.
You should visit MBRLC now and pick your young bucks at baka maubusan kayo.
