Message to the president. You don't put people's lives at risk by having rescue operations suspended while you do a lookylue tour. Stay the hell away and watch the news and take briefings like the rest of us. You're not helping. These people have already suffered enough from your incompetence. Plus you probably forgot everything you saw 5 minutes later.

My brother's been helping with this. The plane he flies is for skydivers, so they closed up for a few days to fly out the supplies.

Thank you for covering this pilot. He should never had be threatened. The fire douche needs to go! At a minimum, he could have coordinated with him for that day and try to get air drops set up until these larger groups got started.. I wouldn't insult a Walmart greeter by saying the Chief is qualified to do that.

Homegrown hero. THIS is the kind of thing that brings out that love for others. He brought his own helicopter and immediately started to rescue people. Regardless of who has "authority" to arrest rescuers; you're getting it done. Just keep going.
