I want to do this so much!!! There are no thrift bookshops or thrift stores that take books within an hour from me, so I never get to go. I live on an island off the coast of FL so we have limited options and B&N is the only store closest + target and there so expensive! Im really happy to have a great local library but i have to return the ones I loved. 😅

Those are my options and one store with a woman who takes donated books and sells them for 11% average more than what they would be worth at B&N, and told me if I brought in 30 books to *donate* (not sell!) Then I could get any of one book I wanted even in new condition and have it ordered from online and shiped to her store in exchange for free. WHAT KIND OF A DEAL IS THAT!?!? Being a bookworm out here is hard!

I love to keep my books as new as I can, and never use pens and pencils on them. sometimes I don't even use pencils on my favourite textbooks . I only ever sign my name with short phrase like "belongs to, property of, loved by, or my baby" I just love my books way too much. Plus I only like to read books ones I purchased them. I don't like audiobooks and ebooks.

$22 how is that cheap. In England if you go to a charity shop you can get these books second hand for a price between 50p - £1 ($0.61 - $1.21) instead of paying £4.53 ($5.50) for one book.

My stores around have prices like 2/3/5 Australian dollars, no much selection, so I have to buy, read, come back. Always a hunt (donation books)

And 10 dollars at an actual book thrift shop I found, but it’s so dusty and an actual mess, I never went back, prefer to hunt down the books, makes me read them and enjoy it them more without stacking and stacking 😅😅😅

I recently Look to See of my town had a used book Shop. It does but Opening hours are really really Bad for me.
They are open from Monday - Friday but they only open for 2 Hours a day. 16 - 18.
And im unable to go there at that time 😢

A THRIFT bookstore??!! Books at reasonable prices for a broke ass bookworm?!!!! Aah! I mean, our local thrift stores have a book section but they sell them at market prices. Brb, gonna go do some googling!
