how I get organized with Evernote

Going digital is great, but I still find writing notes is the best way to memorize. I also scan my notes onto google docs so that I can check them whenever I want.

I really want to study digitally so I could lessen using paper and printer ink, but I'm concerned with the health hazards of using it (e.g. eye constraints) and some of my professors are not big fans of taking notes digitally. I hope I could learn how to manuver my digital notetaking apps during school and learn to study from it. Thank you for this still!!

I use Evernote also to find physical "stuff" at Home.

Therefore have several Boxes or storagespaces (e.g. bags on a cabinet or under a bed).

So what I did is, i created a nested stack of Notebooks with the name of these places.

Now, when i put something into such a place, i also create/put a note in Evernote with the name of this object in that Notebook.

Or i put several objects/Things on a longer Note (the Note has the name of the place (e.g. big red Box on the basement self) and put IT into the Header Notebookstack.


Now whenever i surge physical for something, i just look into Evernote, surge there for name of the object. ... Boom,  it appears in the Notebook or in the Note with the name of place. Now i know exactly where the object is.

The free version used to sync between more than two devices. Instead of innovating lately they’ve been cannibalizing the free version to try to force people into a paid version.
