Great review. Just fitted 3x 8mp varifocal and 1x 5mp 2.8mm Hikvision cameras on to a 7204 HTHI DVR . Having trouble with replaying on holiday with 8mp freezing. Wondering if baud rate (6100) too high . 5mp camera ok remotely. System is also eating a 4tb hard drive at the rate of every 3 days recording? Seems strange .

Hi Paul I've just installed 4 of these hybrid cameras at my mums flat. They work perfectly fine during the day but at night they are slightly wavey still good picture quality but I can see speckles in the Image. Could this be a ground loop problem?

It would be nicer to see actual footage and audio examples for a more informed conclusion of the camera/s given the different scenarios with their different lighting options

Does the colorvu do colour at night? If so which setting should it be on?

Can I ask what height you must install these ? I’m doing a system for a friend in a yard and only place to put these is on a 6 foot fence ? Is that any good ?

My neighbour has newer cameras than me so they put in a smart hybrid bullet camera and i can see it from my 1080p dome camera which is set to be b&w at night but their camera shows up on my screen as a light shining but when i go outside their camera doesn’t have a light on, just the red little light. Why does it look like there is a white light on at night on my screen- is it the hybrid technology? What can i do from my camera to avoid the glare?
