Tribute to Zamile Gantanta

Zamile Gantana was the father of Ingoma. He helped raise us, teaching us about music and performance. He was such a huge inspiration. He passed away in July 2020 after contracting corona virus.

In the absence of being able to go to his funeral at that time we made this short tribute to him; our poet Zameka Ngalwa, wrote some verses and this is combined with footage and photos from our time together, and a song from our last concert under his direction, one of his favourites - Mikulu.

Zamile you are much missed and will never be forgotten.
