The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is a plug-in hybrid Wrangler available in Sahara, Rubicon and High Altitude variants. It packs 375 horsepower and V8-matching 470 pound-feet of torque. Jeep managed to make the plug-in attractive to hybrid and off-roading fans alike by offering 22 miles of electric range, one-pedal driving and all of the off-pavement capability that has made the Wrangler an icon to 4x4 enthusiasts. All of this comes at a sticker price significantly lower than that of the V8-powered Rubicon 392, making it a far more accessible option to mainstream buyers. Byron walks you through the interior features associated with the new powertrain and shows how Jeep integrated them into the existing controls. #jeep #wrangler #4xe #hybrid

Snarky comment about the old V6s. I assume that you do NOT mean that about the new 3.6L which is one of the best, if not the best, engines out there for drivability, performance and relative size fuel economy. That said the new 4xe seems to be a great addition to the Jeep Wrangler lineup. Only time will tell about its durability . . . but that could be great given fewer moving parts providing the batteries can stand being jostled off road.

This was laughable, showing the car while sitting in the front seat..

Kudos to Jeep for keeping actual BUTTONS to control the features. Now, give us the Two Door Wrangler Hybrid already! This thing is way too big and heavy for efficiency.
