I faced two issues so if anyone is facing them, this is what you do
1. storage has exceeded memory life - in option turn of 'storage lifecycle check'
2. ram exception error - the baud rate is too high for your phone let it be 115200.

Actually it is working now.
In sp flash tool options>connection>port- select your port (go to device managers, select ports and see what it is) for me it was COM10 not COM3.
I just selected COM10 and the flashing started.

Just an objection .. i was struggling to follow-up this tutorial till the point of " hold VOL UP button ..bla..bla..
for me I had to hold down VOL DOWN and plug it in (as on fastboot mode) to work..
