Tesla Refreshes Model 3 and Slashes Prices of Top-End Cars

Tesla unveiled the first refresh of its popular Model 3 sedan with a sleeker look and longer range. Bloomberg's Craig Trudell breaks down the updates.

The automaker slimmed down the front end of its entry sedan in the first major face-lift of the Model 3 since it went into production six years ago. The car is rated to go 606 kilometers (377 miles) on a charge in China, a 9% improvement. Other upgrades include a new 8-inch rear touch screen and added speakers to the sound system.

Hours after the long-anticipated unveiling, Tesla made steep cuts to the Model S sedan and Model X sport utility vehicle in the US and China, and lowered the price of the driver-assistance system marketed as Full Self-Driving by $3,000, to $12,000.

Let's start with New Yorkers being crazy if they buy Teslas. NYC are losing gas stations, because fuel companies are going bankrupt over not selling the fuel they ordered to sell to the public forcing transportation companies to drive out of the city to the neighboring cities or boroughs to refuel their gas tanks. Come winter time, they're going to pay more for the OIL TO REPLENISH THOSE BUILDINGS BOILERS to heat the apartment buildings throughout all the boroughs. Huh. People are going to freeze up if they can't afford the electric bill. The government is pushing for people to buy electrics. Buildings can only accommodate charging for just a few cars, maybe 3-5 cars. 🤔🙄🥴

And then the next 2 weeks introduced the most expensive model 3. People are buying disney autopia cars. Haven’t changed body styles etc since 2012. Tesla and their mess of a ceo are absolutely playing the purchasing public. Not even mentioning the insurance difference cost.
