I remember skipping school back in 2000 and buying this album at the store. Best goddamn 15 bucks I ever spent. I still have the same cd.

Family favorite, Incubus. Wife and I are 50. Our oldest boy, 29, and i thank him at every possible opportunity for bringing Incubus home, way back when. Between him and his younger brother, Mama bear and I always had fresh new and awesome bands to listen to and fall in love with. Neither one of those little f'ers has given us grandkids yet. "HOW" i ask them, "are mom and i supposed to know what's new, fresh and awesome, if you don't have kids!?!?" ...LOL. Thanking my kid AND the universe for this flipping fantastic band.

I’m smiling so hard because I still know all the lyrics. I’m remembering teenage and college aged me and a bit surprised how these lyrics still speak to me pretty profoundly

The last track "Out from Under" has always been the hidden gem of the album. . . . One of their best songs to date. . . energy, lyrics, everything. Great album still to this day. . . One of the rare listen to album from start to end.

I can't hear a single one of these tracks without singing along (and butchering the song, lmao) and bobbing my head. That album is a complete fucking masterpiece... period.

Takes me back to driving around with my newborn son listening to this! I took him to see them in 2012. He's a musician himself these days.

In the UK it was a bit later they got popular. But remember listening to this to and from school for months in 2001, and then seeing them in concert, in June 2001 in Manchester. Good times.

This album reminds me of living in my first flat at 17, then the various other flats throughout my early to mid 20's . It stayed in the important small pile of my favourites. Now after a few years of not listening to it (because life) I can still see why. It is an amazing album. Maybe even better becuse of the memories involved. But its a serious, genuine, and still relevant album. Both music and lyrics are just spot on. I just love it. ---

I can't believe I still know the lyrics of all the songs, feels like 20yrs ago when I first laid my hands on this record. I love this band. It's like my dad loves the Beatles and me incubus.

I was working at a clothing store in the mall called Mr Rags back when I was 16. Still to this day was the best job I've ever had. We listened to this album front to back for a year straight nobody complained or said anything. Inside my head it was helping form the thoughtful memories that I have today of being young, wild and confused. Great record great band. Sad that there new stuff they were trying to invent something when in the beginning that something was already invented.

incubus to me is one of the most significantly profound experiences I can only try to describe. there is a huge spiritual and highly intelligent connection to this in what we call consciousness ..it's infinitely

" so don't let the world bring you down, not everyone here is that fucked up and cold."

First time I ever heard this album was riding in the passenger side of my friend's ride at the age of sixteen on the way to the mall just to get out of the house and chill out. it was the first time I heard pardon me and the warmth, two songs that I love to this day still. we smoked two joints on the freeway, hit on the hot chicks at the mall, swindled an older person into getting us some beer, and smoked two more on the ride home. whenever I hear this album I think about that day. It made me feel normal for a brief moment in those awkward teenage years when all the world was confusion and uncertainty.

One of the very few albums in my lifetime that I completely fell in love with the first time I heard it...so much nostalgia listening to it again now.
