Показать описание
Learn how to solve trigonometric equations in this math tutorial by Mario's Math Tutoring. We go through 8 different problems involving multiple types of equations. Some of the equations involve factoring, using the unit circle, and one involves using a calculator. We discuss how to solve the equation in the interval 0 to 2pi as well as how to write the general solution.

Thank you for actually breaking these problems down. The other guys I have watched on youtube all assume we're already math geniuses and should be able to follow along, but you have taken the time to actually teach it. Much appreciated!

Mario thank you for breaking down whether the solution is +90/180/2pi. Other channels and my precalc book gloss over that. Your explanation is golden!

I appreciate this video, it has taught me a lot. Do you think you can do a video on simplifying complex exponents? Like the craziest exponent you can imagine, with parenthesis and fractions. Thanks!

Well Explained Mr. Mario with examples. This concept not only useful in trigonometry, but it is also very useful while solving problems in calculus especially in derivatives and integration. Thank you for sharing the knowledge!!
Happy Teaching !!

Please someone help me. For the second question, I thought we considered only the 2 quadrants of the unit circle where the Trig ratio (i.e tan in this case) is positive?

And thanks very much for the videos. It's really been helping me

On the third problem, why do you stop at each point when going around the circle? On the previous problem, you only stopped at the point that was diametrically opposed to the original point; you skipped over the other two points, so why is it "plus pi n" on #2 but "plus pi over two n" on #3?

You forgot to say “where n is the set of integers”.

love the video but you went too fast on the revolutions---how and why --I understand finding the individual radians

Way too fast, in my humble opinion. And also unbalanced, because the process of isolating the trig term on one side is detailed, whereas the real stuff - that is the trig resolution itself - is surprisingly not given a superior attention. My comment is not meant to be negative, though. :-)
