These videos early on in a format are always kind of funny since LSV doesn't play a lot of Arena so he's just beating up on people in Silver.
SantosLHalper
LSV unintentionally smurfing in silver is a vibe

love seeing lsv draft this set, he's such a great player and explains things really well. always learn a lot. would like to see him face off with higher ranked opponents so that I can see his plays vs more pressure/better decks

Glacial Dragonhunt's discard is a MAY. There's literally zero reason to ever discard a land to it, they absolutely did not know how the card worked. Was crazy seeing so many people discard lands to it in the early access streamer videos, saw it happen literally over half a dozen times in seperate incidents. You can use it as a Think Twice variant if you dont want to discard!

Nice clean deck. Just want to comment that some players still don’t know how Glacial Dragonhunt works. If you don’t plan on discarding a non-land card, better just not discard at all since the discard is a “may”. Just treat it as cycling.

This was a great deck by the end of pack 2. Insane deck! Probably one of the best I've seen so far. Thanks lsv

I still can't believe that the design team was able to give every 3-colour card three different effects AND each one is obviously linked to one of the three colours.
It's a real masterclass in design.

23:38 lsv forgets that he is in silver lmao. imagine being the poor silver player that ques into him

I wonder if 5-Color Goodstuff Pile dot dec is possible in this format, like how it was in the original Khans block. When drafting the whole block, the best strategy was to take multicolor lands (especially tri-lands) over anything else until there were no more left, then taking the best card in each pack with the color most produced by your lands. Unless you opened something like Wingmate Roc, Siege Rhino, or Sarkhan, lands were the best pick. It was a lot slower format, especially with the life lands.
This format may be a tad too fast to prioritize lands like that, however.

Lsv: "A true skill test will be knowing wether a monocolored card like shock brigade goes in for example mardu or temur"
Highlights Shock brigade, showing a mardu symbol on the card
slungellife
three picks in 5 color could be good is crazy

Great content! 1080p next time if possible?
I consider myself an above average drafter. Theres zero universes where I open mystic snake and have the forethought to be open to other colors.
That’s why lsv is the goat I guess.
Good stuff!

I tend to play a lot of removal... But that game 6 was just ridiculous

20:26 you should look up the Island ones... 😅

I was playing arena draft yesterday and after going 4-0 came up against the 3 best decks I’ve ever seen and lost out. Somehow you’ve been fed all the noobs. Must be the LSV intimidation factor.
JD_Chill
LSV rubbing his hands as the deck comes together as planned is hilarious. poor silver players

Sunset Strikemaster means a red 1-drop that taps for 1 red mana is not far off
TheDylls
What I found impressive, it's LSV drafting a deck AND beating people for a 7-0 strike in LESS than an hour.

Gotta say, I didn't think it would go nearly as well as it did. Deck looked solid, but the format doesn't seem to be about aggro at all.
