I did this for my dad one year and also bought him a lordship title. He now only answers to 'Lord' and refers to me as his peasant. I created a monster but honestly it is exactly how my family shows love.
Edit: This years present is a custom engraved serving board with a pita bread recipe on it. It's his recipe but I made it once and he was mildly annoyed that it was better than his. So I'm clearly labelling it my recipe and engraving it on a serving board for him.
