English Dio sounds better when hes not yelling in my opinion. Because whenever he speaks it radiates this aura that dio usually has, same applies to japanese too, however japanese can do it better yelling

Japanese is just perfect voice over, no doubt, but english one sometimes actually sounds like british 123 years old vampire

The Japanese Dio sounds perfect for the role - extremely cocky and over the top. The English Dio just sounds like a normal dude somehow.

i really liked Matt Mercer's Jotaro, but there's something about the English dub of this show that moves it from the "art" category and places it into the "almost too cringe to watch" category
