7:56 I remember getting the golden gift. I was the only survivor of a triple disaster, and I remember being super stoked about it. Then, the gift appeared. Everyone in the server crowded around to see it. Ah, good times.

The popcorn cart is basically giving players an unfair advantage, because the fire usually starts there, and players can push it off to get an easy survival.

The popcorn machine also had a strange glitch that would occur if you were standing on the tray part where the popcorn comes out of. If you stood there and walked against the glass part, the machine would spazz out and you would get trapped inside, and you would most likely not survive the disaster that eventually hits party palace. Although it’s possible for the popcorn machine to start breaking into pieces when the disaster starts and you can escape, but when I experienced this glitch, I have never managed to get out of the machine.

double disasters were added in 2014 not 2012. It was a highly requested feature and a shame SML swapped it out for the weather machine that requires robux (possibly was pressured by roblox to do this, it is one of the most popular games on the site after all).

the red balloon must of been a secret or something in the game around 2013-2016 because in that era there was a small myth about it and i actually saw players with it, you dont have to belive this but i swear the red balloon is out there

Other interesting facts:

- The Roblox NDS survivor figurine carries a grappling hook, which doesn’t actually appear anywhere in the game.

- The popcorn machine is very bugged. If you try to push it, there’s a chance that it will glitch out and cause you to become trapped inside the machine. Or you will be flung and most likely die from the launch.

- The fall damage system in the game is also has some strange flaws. For example, if you are flung from a loose object during a disaster like an earthquake it is very likely that you will be killed. If your holding a balloon and go to a high height from being flung, you will quickly start taking damage and die as well.

- Speaking of high heights, when you reach a certain height while holding the balloon, it will actually pop. A few places this could happen include the top of the towers in Fort Indestructible and Sky Tower, and the top of the smokestack in Rakish Refinery, the former is also the tallest structure in the game.

Seeing the knockoff stuff on Layer 1 reminded me of when I used to play this ripoff of NDS which was basically an older version of the game (I think it was made several years ago) and really the only reason I played it was because it gave you a free balloon in the game.

It had stats and I don't remember if they had double disasters or not

3 Extra Facts:

1: If you had a balloon, you used to be able to jump from the volcano from the respawn tower without dying, if the volcano was close enough. You would be able to travel to the island, but you wouldn't show up on the survival list since you already died.

2: The volcano rock and meteor textures were changed a while back to glow orange, red, or yellow. And back then, the volcano rocks had the sand textures colored the colors that I stated. The old meteors used to have a brown stone texture, with no color other than the fire effects.

3: Other iconic things were removed recently, such as the hurricane insurance sign, the classic party palace music, and some UI.

Forgot to mention that back then one of the cars would go crazy either if it was at Raving Raceway or Furious staton, and the player driving it would get instantly killed. Well I see that today this isn’t the case anymore as that bug is now fixed.
