The point of resolving red hearts, I believe, is to level down divine remnants to level two while keeping some charges and gaining some pickups. Losing a fully max remnants makes you vulnerable for a long time. So use it if there is some rooms left before seeing an item to reroll I think

Someone's probably already said it, but I think the golden Isaac's Tomb nets you two items from it, rather than two separate chests. It's 1-3 soul hearts per chest, so might've been a low roll that doubled. Maybe.

Hutts, if you're reading this, it's probably a good idea to enable External Item Descriptions' mod indicator since you are playing with mods, it will display the mod's name next to modded items so you can know where the item came from, it will also help a lot of people in the comments asking about the content mods you're playing with. Assuming you have "Mod Configuration Menu Pure" installed, once you are in a run, press L to open the MCM settings menu, navigate to EID -> Visuals and go to "display mod indicator", it's the very last option and it's off by default, all you have to do is to switch it to "name only" or 'both' if you also want a little icon next to the mod's name assuming the mod supports that.
