The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. LA-based, London-born house artist Chris Lake gave us quite a set.

Chris Lake has proved he has a stronghold on modern house music. He's truly explored the genre from one end to the other, progressive to soul to tech and beyond. It was early on in his career that Chris Lake was signed to Ultra Music, where he hit the charts hard with four massive releases.

As of now, he has started to find himself a much more tech-oriented, highly-danceable house sound. He's gained millions of plays on SoundCloud just this year with his remixes of SNBRN's 'California' and Calvin Harris' 'How Deep Is Your Love'; Chris has also found major success with his latest original release 'Stranger', out now via Ultra. We have him joining us fresh off of HARD Day of the Dead, in the midst of his North American tour. Check out his remaining tour dates below.

Lucky too have been here 🙏💕 I promise you everybody was dancing! It looks much slower on video for some reason but this small crowd went crazy for Chris lake. They cut off scenes from the set but it got so insane that the power even went out hahaha!
