This tournament has been amazing, every match has been great, every wrestler thats been involved has came out looking better. It’s really beautiful actually. Bryan is so selfless, and even if he’ll go over next week, this program will lead to him losing to Eddie at some point. Both guys are awesome. This is what pro wrestling should always be.

Take a second to appreciate that Bryan Danielson was once positioned as the king of the underdogs. Now he is convincingly the measuring stick that the new king of the underdogs, Eddie Kingston has to rally against. That is excellent storytelling because it is completely believable. Plus the disrespect shown to Eddie by Danielson weeks ago has now come back to fuel the story. Not only that, but it goes all the way back to their lack of respect when Eddie was helping out the Blackpool Combat Club and nearly set Danielson on fire. This tournament has been booked fantastically!
