Korean Phrases for Shopping (As a Salesperson)

The phrases used in this lesson:

Store, Shop
= 가게 [ga-ge]

Welcome.
= 어서오세요. [eo-seo-o-se-yo.]

= 네, 입어 보셔도 돼요. [ne, i-beo bo-syeo-do dwae-yo.]

= 포인트 카드 있으세요? [po-in-teu ka-deu i-sseu-se-yo?]

Do you have a mileage card?
= 적립 카드 카드 있으세요? [jeok-lib ka-deu i-sseu-se-yo?]

Do you have a discount card?
= 할인 카드 있으세요? [ha-rin ka-deu i-sseu-se-yo?]

It looks good on you.
= 잘 어울리세요. [jal eo-ul-li-se-yo.]

Yes, take your time and look around.
= 네, 천천히 둘러보세요. [ne, cheon-cheon-hi dul-leo-bo-se-yo.]

Thanks a lot for this very, very helpfull guide! In just 15 min. I got all the informations I needed for my job in a (bavarian) bakery! As much as possible, I try to speak to customers in THEIR language...and since I learn korean language seriously, I hope so badly for korean customers to come along and buy some bread or rolls😥

@kirarii13 it's not really necessary to use honorific ending -ᄇ니다 in this case (when u are the customer). just use -요 ending.

I'm not sure if you've already made a video on this, but I was wondering about terms to tell a customer the price of what they are looking at. I know that there there different references to numbers between something quantitative (i.e. number of items, number of people) and qualitative (i.e. price, height). I learned it once, but forgot :(

Mileage means MILES on the face of the earth. The only thing in a shop that could possibly have "miles" is a pair of tennis shoes - how many MILES you have run in them. Nothing, and I mean, NOTHING else. So how are point cards and whatever you are calling 'mileage' cards different?
