The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 showcase 1,799 universities from 104 countries and regions, making them the most complete and accurate and diverse university rankings to date.

The table is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that analyze a faculty's performance in four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.

This year's ranking evaluated over 121 million citations from over 15.5 million research publications, while also survey responses from 40,000 scholars globally. We collected over 680,000 data points from over 2,500 education systems that submitted data in count.
