I had lapband in 2012. My doctor died only a year later and nobody wanted to do my fill because they thought I should go back to the doctor who did the surgery before, even after I explained he died. Just got out of the hospital yesterday and my band had been disconnected for god knows how long and was embedding into my liver and other issues that literally almost killed me.

I also have a gastric band as you call it lap band the port stuck and it’s hurts on movement. I had a CT scan no movement was detected but I’m in pain
