Optimal Breakfast & Lunch Timing for Weight Loss and Health
Показать описание
I go over studies showing that the timing of your breakfast and lunch can make a big difference for weight and health. Press "show more" to see the study link(s)!
I just want to clarify: mentioning intermittent fasting doesn’t mean I am pro-intermittent fasting (I am neutral because it has both pros and cons), and it doesn’t mean the IF muscle loss studies I went over before are not the case. As I mentioned with text in the video, the study looking at IF + eating timing window doesn’t necessarily support IF itself. It could all be from the timing.
I mentioned IF just because I know some of you enjoy it.

Yes. I would love to see research on dinner and breakfast timing. There's so much information out there I don't know what to do.

Yes I’m interested in Both dinner timing and skipping breakfast. ESP the former .
I think these are practical daily hacks that every human being interested in optimising their meal timing will want to listen to in order to solve problems ( weigh loss or glucose sensitivity).
Please post these part three and four series . ❤🎉

Dear Miche. Since you demilitarized carbs for me, I am able to tell when I'm full. And stay full! I love potatoes and bread and I gave both up because, you know, carbs....
You've changed my life!

I would be extremely interested in both of those follow up videos! I will admit, though, as someone who really prefers to live on a later shifted schedule to most people (I'm rarely awake before 10am), and who finds eating before bed a really calming and satisfying part of my night time routine (small amounts of hunger make it hard for me to fall asleep), all these studies are a little frustrating to see. I know you mentioned intuitive eating... but, my intuition seems to be exactly counter to what these studies are suggesting -.-'
I don't know, maybe my neurodivergence (adhd and asd) is playing a role here, and might potentially explain a discrepancy between my personal physiology and what's suggested by these studies? Possibly the fact that I exercise in the evening has some effect? Or, perhaps what's more important is the distance from waking that these events occur, rather than the exact time in the day? Although, if I were to make a hypothesis about why these studies show what they show, my intuition might be that it's related to circadian rhythms, i.e. our bodies relationship to sunlight. That said, it is all a bit discouraging to see none-the-less ='(

I would really appreciate that you will talk about the best time for eating dinner, and if it is good or bad not eat breakfast. By the way, I love your videos very much. They are extremely informative, educational, and important for my health, and wellness. Thank you very much for your videos. A big hug for you. 👍🤗

I can control my breakfast timing, but because of work lunch and dinner I cannot. So my lunch is usually between two and three, and I don’t get home until 7 PM for dinner. It would be useful to see how eating later effects health and weight.

Thanks, very interesting. Skipping breakfast and topics about eating wisdom will be very useful

You've answered my question with absolute conciseness, Thank You

not sure how I got into this habit but I eat between 7am and noon. I go to sleep by 10pm. this is so easy, I never get hungry, and never have any urge to eat past noon. I wake up, do a small amount of exercise then i am ready to eat.

Yes. Both dinner and breakfast sounds good. Especially breakfast timing, size, and content.

I delay my morning hunger by drinking early coffee, which probably sucks for my health

This is fascinating. Makes me feel better about the schedule I had ironed out for myself for weight loss. I eat as soon as I get up, any time between 7 and 8 AM. I eat lunch around 11 to 1130, a small snack around 3-4, and dinner around 6. I have continued to improve my bmi, maintain muscle tone while burning fat at the same time so I figured it was working.

I thought that a while back, you reported on studies that indicated while intermittent fasting, the people lost weight with a higher percentage of the weight being muscle loss.
I quit trying intermittent fasting when I saw your video regarding the subject. (Maybe I misunderstood? )
I wonder about two meal days, either within an intermittent fasting time window, or spread out 8 or 9 hours

I eat breakfast as soon as I wake up, usually about 6am. I often have
two breakfasts !!
Very interesting video

Please do dinner timing! I eat big meals before bed and need help figuring out a strategy to reduce that.

I am interested in both the dinner and breakfast videos

Thanks for sharing the research - I lean toward delaying my breakfast till 2-3 hours after my morning workout - is that advisable or should I eat earlier ?

I skip breakfast but have an early lunch (brunch). But I don't do physical labour.

Would love to know what you found for the effects of late night eating 🖐
