Just watched it!! (one year later but still!...) Amazing movie, and it is 'epic' indeed. Made me chuckle throughout the whole movie, yet still managed to make me tear up at times. Loved it, incredible animation as well. I will definitely re-watch this more than once!

The snail and the slug were like the whole comedy parts ! They actually made the movie F-U-N-N-Y ! especially at the end .

This movie was okay I guess, but I feel this movie could be so much greater. If I was the director, I would've given Mary Katherine the ability to control plants after she gets struck down like the queen (plant bending basically). I'd also have it so that after she's shrunk, Mandrake's son would still be alive, see the pod attached to Mary and try to kill her for his clan, but she ends up accidentally killing him instead with her plant bending, which makes Mandrake vengeful towards Mary, being a lot more epic. And I'd have a way more unique cast of side characters who aren't annoying comic relief with plenty of character development and purpose. I'd also change the movie title because just straight up 'Epic' just feels lazy and uninspired to me.
