Are you able to find velocity at the lowest point only using height differences and energy efficiency?

Thanks our teacher didn't put this in our self learning kits

hi, im tried using ur method but seems like it cannot being used with my question

the question : The work done in lifting a body vertically through a distance of 120 m is 5 W h. Calculate the mass of the body. If the time taken is 2 min, what is the average value of the power?

hi! please help!! i know in the video you used 10n/kg for the g but as it said 9.8 in brackets, would it matter what number i use? i've got a test on friday and i was wondering if i should use 10, or 9.8? does it depend on what it says in the question? would i get marked wrong if i use one number when i was supposed to use the other number - how do i know what one to use?

like for instance in that first example you showed, your answer was 0.49kg when using 10 - if i were to use 9.8 i'd get 120050J
Is that still correct as it said i should use 9.8 in the question?

Can I get a help
In my question it didn’t work
GPE - 14 joule
Consider gravity - 10m/s^2
Height - 10m
And the answer is 200g
(In my question A rubber ball is dropped, is it the reason for not working in my book question )

can i ask, did u divide the jouls and the acceleration due to gravity?

i might sound dumb here but what do i have to do if the question is " How much gravitational Potential Energy? "

sir, can u help me with this question? thanks in advance sir

A belt friction brake applied at the circumference of a pulley, 40 mm diameter, exerts a backward drag of 220 N. If the speed of the pulley is 660 rev/min, calculate
(a) The torque on the pulley
(b) The power absorbed by the brake.

This did not help me because I need to find the mass in order to find the GPE

Sir but the unit of g is equal to 9.8m/s² not 10
