Last of the classic look S Class. The SE just has better proportions than the longer wheelbase SEL.
I had the same color 1987 W124 300E. The 3 liter 6 cylinder was adequate in the smaller W124, but a bit underpowered in the bigger W126. I loved this color, always got compliments when I drove mine.

Mercedes had better paint colors back then...
They should reintroduce them today, because the color selections they have
today (White, Black & Gray), just don't highlight the contours of the design of most of the models!!

These are wonderful cars. A bit sluggish 0-40 but once at cruising speed, fantastic. This car priced at $70k is twice what you should be paying.
