What i like about Fournier is that he had declared years ago that he wanted to play for Oly .

With the addition of such an elite shooter off the dribble (or not) like Fournier, Olympiacos has probably the best shooting team in the league at the moment.
4 elite shooters (Fournier, Vezenkov, Peters, Dorsey) and 4 more that are above the average and can't be left open (Goss, Pap, Vildoza, Evans) while simultaneously having a top defender and facilitator (Walkup) and scary bigs (Fall, Milutinov, Wright)...yeah pretty much makes Olympiacos one of the clear favorites.
When Sasha dominated the league, teams were literally double teaming him or man marking him all the time... now he will have an extremely good scorer, probably even better than himself, next to him. That alone is scary.
In general the roster of Olympiacos has potential lineups for any situation and more than anything I am really excited to watch my team this year

He said in an interview yesterday that the last few years he was bored to death in the NBA, i think he will love basketball again here in Europe where every game matters and it's not like the NBA boring pre playoff matches.

What Fournier brings, is one more strong threat. With Fournier, Vezenkof and Dorsey for example it's hard for the defence to focus.
It's a gamble on how this team will defend, however if Bartzokas manages to pull it through, it should be wild.

I don't expect Euroleague to fall to Olympiakos hands, however what I would like is basketball like the one we played 2 years ago with Vezenkof MVP. That was a joy to watch and yes the trophy is important, but we watch a full year's worth of games and enjoy them first

I agree, Fournier would not be the player that dominates everything and scores 30 points per game. But Olympiakos doesn't need that, he needs a great addition to 2/3 to work with the rest of the team. If this team cooperates and blends together, it will win Euroleague.

I usually love your guys video, but you clearly don't know Fournier. He was a drive first player, that's legit what made him being drafted in the NBA. He became a shooter has he got older and lost is explosivness. He was always a player capable of creating is own shot on the pick and roll, and he seems as he gets older, he is becoming a better creator for other, he basically played Point Guard with France during the 4th quarters at the Olympics.

Great video but Olympiakos would have been no1 contestant even without Fournie. Vildoza, Dorsey and of course Vezenkov are a huge upgrade from last year. Fournie is just the icing on the cake.

Players are not just stats. Nunn came to Europe with a much smaller NBA career, with a huge knee injury, with far less scoring productivity and with zero European Basketball experience. Nevertheless, last year he dominated. Fournier is the exact opposite on all those. Of course he strugled the last 2 years, but this was more a front office decision to rebuild NYK.

Obviously Fournier along with Vezenkov make Olympaikos a beast offensively. At least in shooting. A more athletic small forward charing in might have been preferable with a power forward like Vezenkov who also is kinda light and likes to shoot. Defensively I don't see how these two will help Olympiakos more but Bartzokas teams are ok in defense, they also have Walkup and good defensive centers. I think Olympiakos is a great favorite to win the top spot in regular season and will probably go to F4 once more. However the big issue is whether this time they can win the title. Vezenkov wasn't enough last time, maybe Fournier will make the difference but Olympiakos has shown to have a loser mentality losing all 3 last final fours even when they had Vezenkov and the best record in regular season. Can Fournier alone transform the team into winners? It remains to be seen.
