MTG Timeless is the newest format coming to MTG Arena and it encompasses EVERY card on the client. This video is a guide to understanding what are the best removal and interaction options for you on day 1 when you are building Timeless decks. What is wild is they can add cards to the format that are ALREADY on arena because of Alchemy cards. So they could easily add the tron lands, the original dual lands, and even the power 9🤯

I really hope you play a ton of Timeless. This is easily my new favorite format and I deleted all my decks to make a clean slate of decks for this. lol

Miscast will be absolutely insane against certain shells. I can easily see creativity still finding a home in Timeless, especially depending on how MH3 goes.

Since fetchlands are going to be legal since 12 december, i can assume deathrite shaman, knight of the reliquary, dig through time, treasure cruise, grim lavamancer and stifle is going to be the thing in this format. Also, leyline binding is going to be the #1 removal since you can fetch triome and reduce it's cost on turn 2... Speaking about that, cards like aven mindcensor, ashiok(one that prevents from searching opponents library), narset is going to be fine 3cc options for decks. Minor misstep could also be the thing.
Stifle on fetch turn 1 is going to be game winning scenarios

its highly meta dependant, but I can see stern scolding being an extremely important player in this format for no reason other than its 1 cmc. but yeah, in general alchemy cards are gonna need to be very good to compete

I really think tax effects could have been in this list. Personally I hate “stax” style decks, but I’m sure there’s gonna be a Thalia & thorns deck, in a format like this.
