Aloha! Yes, as a mature woman, I've found that contouring my cheeks is a lose-lose situation.You're really the first to state this. I do apply bronzer but even then, as good as my skin is, there's just enough melasma and little places that makes it virtually impossible for it to look really great, IMHO! Try cream concealer under the foundation and highlighting too

Hi! Try some translucent powder to blend over the contour..it helps me a lot. Love seeing your mom, she is beautiful! PS As I age, I enjoy oil-based products very much. I just bought a number of decent foundations, concealers, and a cream blush palette I cannot wait to come in my mail! Loved this video!xx

Your mom is so beautiful! She should be a model, and now she is! She has beautiful bone structure.. I agree with you.. I am 55, and I don't do any of that contouring.. I don't want any more 'sharpness' to my face. I use some blush. I find that the less layers of crap I put on my face the better it looks.

I also appreciate you and her sharing the "reality" of what we can expect of our skin. I have not yet experienced some of the things you are showing here, but no doubt I will eventually.

I will save myself the trouble and not bother with any of that contouring business :)

I believe for any age person it's all about HIGHLIGHTING for everyday makeup vs. contouring to bring up your features and brighten your face and give it a translucent glow. U.S. women in particular have become crazy about heavy foundation and contouring.
