Haskovo city, Bulgaria, filmed with a drone

The city of Haskovo. I have flown over it before and shot beautiful scenes from a different perspective, but I wanted to capture this central part a bit better and my intentions coincided with the national holiday of the country, which explains the central square being full of people. Unfortunately, I was there too early and was not able to catch all the festivities, but rather the preparations for the big party. Nonetheless we see the city from a beautiful angles showing most of the central parts and older city districts. We are flying mainly over the square in front of the Chitalishte “Zarya”. “Chitalishte” is a word without direct analog in English, basically an educational and cultural center. Here we can see some prominent Haskovo landmarks, like the city museum, with some exhibition items visible in the enclosed by the building areas, the city fountains, the several clock towers, the two old mosques and so many iconic buildings around.
