2:30 White Vinegar, baking soda, water.

On the concrete floor, i keft the garage door cracked and pointed the fan at the puddle and went to bed. In the morning it was dry of course but stunk of gas.
Got a big jug of white vinegar and covered the area with vinegar. I rubbed the vinegar over the gas stain around with my bare feet, poured more vinegar and let the fan dry it out. After it dried the Gas stain was mostly gone and there was zero gas smell. No elbow grease required. Had to hose my feet off. No need to dirty rags or use paper towels.

Bagging gas cans is a great way, and put some tarp down where the cans (tanks) will be.

White vinegar, baking soda, and water mixed at a 1:1 ratio has always worked well for me. Spot on. 👍

I spilled pure anhydrous toluene on my carpet. I’ve spilled gasoline before but man the toluene smell is INTENSE. Tried your method and it pretty much neutralized the smell within minutes but I just threw a layer of dry bicarb on the carpet just to be sure. Thank you sir!

My dad just gave me an old hatchback that he basically treated like a pickup truck for years. It smells like a mechanic's shop. Do you think this will work on years-old, soaked-in, nasty brown motor oil smells?

Thanks. I'll have to try this. I use that to clean other places. But don't think I would have tried it for this. I took the seat back out so I could clean it without getting the car soaked.
