County Antrim has a very varied geography, with the legendary Giant's Causeway to the north, the nine green glens in the east, Lough Neagh in the west and sprawling Belfast in the south, the home of the Titanic.

In the Counties of Ireland Explained series, I will be making a video about all 32 counties on the island of Ireland, teaching you about their geography, history, economy, culture and more.

I've been planning to do this series for a long time so finally, here's the first episode! Next episode will be County Armagh. I will also continue to make other content as well on the channel.

Great stuff! Thanks. I’ve been looking forward to this. I know next to nothing about Northern Ireland - or the counties of Ireland more generally. This was a brilliant overview!

One mistake in the video: the Titanic was built from 1909 to 1911, its voyage started in 1912.

I believe that l have ancestors who lived in Antrim before they immigrated to the US back in the early 1700s.
