Pension scheme law amendments needed

The Uganda Retirement Benefits Authority has now started licensing private pension schemes in the market that hold above 300 Billion shillings pooled by savers.

Andrew Kasirye, the Chairman of the Retirement Benefits Authority however maintains that the gaps in the current law still limits the ability of the authority to enforce sound management of pension schemes.
