Based on spring storms southern California faced earlier in 2017, but cranked up to 11. A variety of new visuals and techniques were utilized in this scenario, and like always a lot of research went into this one as well. I decided to go back to the times of the CRS (program that runs NWR before the new BMH system) using Tom and Donna TTS voices for alerts. The way the alerts were worded as well as the voices that were utilized were modified based on real-life depictions of stations used in this scenario. While this scenario is a bit on the short side, it was highly experimental in nature and I hope to use this format in future scenarios!

Typo noted on some screens in this video. KWO39 should be KWO37 (KWO39 is in Chicago). I need more sleep.

Description: "...but cranked up to 11."
My mind: *We Are Number One plays but it's earrape*

20:26 I don’t know why does this siren sound effect sounds a little similar to the siren from the movie called “the mist”

"20 minutes later in Chavez Ravine. Clayton Kirschaw blows another post season game." Seriously though, another great presentation!

i think a storm like this in LA is extremely unlikely, it couldve been in oklahoma or some spot that has storms somewhat like this would be better, keep up the good work tho

air raid sirens in Los Angeles County are not operational. Also I hear a Whelen and Orange County is full of them.

As someone whose lived in SoCal for all their life, I know exactly how we'd respond:

" #sendingthoughtsandprayers "

Ahh yes, the days of the CRS, and also the days when I was trying so hard to get the Tom voice (and I still am) in this pronounciation style.

Right around 2:40 I do believe the Text-to-Voice guy mentions gusty wands? Just a heads-up!
e: Seems to happen whenever the voice tries to say 'winds.'

Friday The 13th Detected! But at least Jason Voorheez / Voorhees should not be there during the spring storm.

You should change the sampling rate to 8k hz to make it sound more like a radio

I am surprised that they didn't add the city of Montclair in the eas Scenario videos.
