BAMBOO Catering (M) Sdn Bhd's steamboat delivery is a great way for families and friends to gather and indulge within the comforts of home minus the hassle of going through the tedious preparations.

The ingredients are all nicely packed in hygienic, hermetically sealed containers and delivered in chiller vans by a logistic company to ensure freshness and quality.

Available are three stock choices of chicken, tom yam and fish bone in concentrated form. All you need to do is add water and heat up the pot.

A full set of steamboat ingredients usually include fresh prawns, fish, squids, chicken, abalone, scallops, seafood balls, mushrooms, tofu, noodles, eggs and a large selection of vegetables.

There are also condiments such as chilli padi, soya, chilli and tomato sauces, and fried garlic oil besides add-ons (additional charges apply) like flower crabs, sea cucumber, fresh mussel, jellyfish, sea asparagus, tiger prawns, beef slices, chicken dumpling, seafood ball and many more.

Orders for 60 people come with a steamboat equipment set and, for 100 persons and above, a server for a buffet layout. A rental fee of RM30 and deposit of RM150 per set are applicable for 50 people and below (Penang only).

Bamboo Catering is giving a 15% discount on all the steamboat sets until the end of the year.

The company also caters for events of various types and sizes, including birthday parties, opening ceremonies, anniversaries, annual dinners, themed parties and open houses.

It can cater to groups from as small as 30 people or as many as 4,000 guests, with its services covering Butterworth, Sungai Petani, Taiping, Kedah, Perlis, Ipoh and Bukit Kayu Hitam.

The professional caterer has the resources to manage up to 20 events at different locations in one day and the ability to conjure up almost any sort of desired ambience and theme.

Besides buffet spreads, there is also the option of an eight-course halal dinner, five-course Western fine dining, barbeque and cocktail.

The halal menu features over 500 items, ranging from local to international cuisines, fusion food ala Bamboo style and a signature selection of some 60 hawker delicacies.
