It looks like the SKT glory days are behind us... T1 is 5-5 right now in the LCK and just fired 2 of their coaches just before their match

I think it's for the better. Under Daeny everyone at T1 was so afraid to make plays, hearing Faker said "I will take responsibility" when he called for the end in GenG game was so sad. Today they looked like a different beast, constant tower dives, forced Baron at 20 mins, everyone just seems so unleashed.

I think in fairness if you watched their games today against KT they looked really good, T1 are never an easy team to beat in LCK but 'ONER' coming in for Cuzz in the jungler today showed real promise and if you look at the other teams T1 is probably 4th best team in the reigon at the moment plus they have 50 championship points from spring i think tbh Zefa was to aggressive making changes in the first split and didnt replace cuzz as quickly in summer so i see T1's point, and faker is so experienced hes probably almost a coach himself even as a player.

I hope to see Faker at worlds at least one more time before he hangs up his headset. He always performs so well there.

Tbh, while everyone on Twitter were freaking out before their match, I was getting my hopes back up.

The amount of roster swaps in Spring, amount of poorly drafted games, and the amount of games they played with no actual plan across this year so far was getting ridiculous.

After their draft, roster, and gameplay against KT, I'm pretty sure it's for the best.

They did so because Coach Kim gave up on T1 last year. They are like traumatized. He even won Spring with T1

hahahahah oh boy, internet analysts at it again. No flame intended, but maybe wait for the first couple of games after the changes with such strongly voiced opinions, might avoid some embarassment in the future. :D

Wolf said on Montes podcast yesterday that LCK players are different now than they used to be in terms of their willingness to accept a bench spot on top team within the league for really good money, instead of pursuing a starting role with a shitty team for not so great money. He thinks their ambition is worlds and worlds only so why join a team that has no chance? He talked about those players focus being on their streaming career in the future and how having a big named org like T1 by your name attracts viewers etc. ALso, I believe youre seeing weird drastic moves happen because the people incharge of making those moves are on the hotseat and are trying to save their jobs. Theres very few people who get it right when it comes to creating good rosters and the meta is always changing. Also starting players might be getting burnt out and losing form which creates bad performances and its a domino effect. the environment they create causes other players to not care as much as before.

The standings don't matter, the point is if they can win playoffs

Finished for the year? There's a big chance. Finished as an org? idk.
2014 people thought they were done, but they bounced back. They still have problems to fix, T1 through the years got by with strong top lane play. Impact in 2013, Marin in 2015, Duke in 2016. I think having a coach who's a top lane guru and someone who can understand the meta like cCarter used to. Like honestly when cCarter left, T1 struggled.

makes me want to see the lifetime where LS actually became the coach for T1. This is ofc a hard COPIUM but a man can dream okay.

I think T1 is doing it for the better. Also, I think Faker will become the "coach" soon. Faker has enough knowledge about the game and draft to be a coach and he has more than enough skill to be a player at the same time.
