Overall, the soundtrack took about 10 months to make, going through a lot of iterations as the feel of the game and environments changed.

Composed and produced with Reason 8.

I just realize something: Aegis is modeled after the shape of a spider...
Just like one of the beta concepts for GLaDOS.
That means the main protagonist and antagonist are both technically beta characters.

Every time i play this mod it hits me right in the feels. I still remember being hyped about this... Re-watching the trailer again and again... And when it came out in the evening here in Germany it was amazing downloading this mod with 500kb/s now my connection has 800kb/s lol...

The puzzles were so hard the first time i had took about an hour for each chamber in the later chapters..
It was so amazing i had a better time than with portal 2 and that's saying something!!
I still cry when i play through it and that ending theme plays...

Thank you harry and the whole team for bringing a world alive.

I have to say, Harry, your team made an excellent mod to Portal 2. It almost felt MORE intense than the actual game itself! Well voice acted, well paced, and well made! Love it!

So damn good, this boss fight is awesome, and his music is awesome too.
The pressure on your shoulders when AEGIS is draining the oxygen, and when Virgil tells you that you must shut him down before he shuts you down, or the entire facility will drown into goo. Now, you have 4 minutes to shut all AEGIS's servers before he drains all the oxygen.
How can you be calm in a moment like that. I mean, really, I was so stressed when I was playing, because the ENTIRE facility depends on you.

Such a great music, for such a great mod, for such a great game.

Wheatley's boss fight if he was smart

Gorgeous, while GLaDOS and Whatley fight music is much more lively, this perfectly mentions the fact that AEGIS is not an AI, it's a robot that WILL strike you down.

GLaDOS: Evil but funny robot, which controls the entire facility and is sentient
Mel: Agile Olympian who managed to harness the power of a Portal Gun prototype
Chell: Silent but smart test subject who can get around any system of defense
Wheatley: Funny robot who isn't the sharpest tool in the shed
Virgil: Same as above, but smarter
AEGIS: Robot who isn't sentient, but very smart. Also funni spider haha

You know something sad? After this fight, Virgil says "Ill start up the elevator, you can live the rest of your life, and I, can live forever!"

But the thing is... He's running on power from the facility (+The backup battery, but as he said, it'd run out in roughly 3 days)
And after you watch the credits the camera goes back into AEGIS's body and you see:
AEGIS FINAL PROCEDURE: DEACTIVATE RESERVE POWER
(what that part of the facitlity runs on due to possible generator destruction) meaning that after a while Virgil would turn off and die. And thats probably why we dont see Virgil at all in Portal 2, because he was shut down and wasnt seen again. (Portal 2 takes place after PS:M)
