Trump still not satisfied with Mexico's proposal as tariff deadline looms

The White House faces a deadline Friday to decide whether to impose new tariffs on all Mexican imports. A third day of intense negotiations between U.S. and Mexican officials will try to stop those tariffs from taking effect on Monday. President Trump is threatening tariffs to get Mexico's government to do more to stop illegal immigration. Weijia Jiang reports.

People are people, no matter what color...legal immigration is deeply limited, which is why for many the choice is watch your kids die in physical violence or from famine, or take the chance breaking the law. Would you break the law to save your life, and that of your family?

Unless you are native american, you or your parents are an immigrant...I hope you show compassion to someone who is almost exactly like you, but was less lucky when picking their parents/place of birth.

The united states is vast, and except for the wealthy siphoning up moist of the resources there would be more then enough for all.

Automation is going to eliminate most jobs, immigrants or none. Jobs come and go, the ethics of treating others well lasts.

Research shows most of a tariff is absorbed by the company in order to stay competitive. should be able to afford the wall now.
