Thanks. I had no accel. pump fuel output. I put an O-ring behind the fabric seal to get a better seal. it worked. then i did the adjustments you suggested ( after setting timing from 4 btdc to 12*btdc ) . the 4mm adj. Works 90% better. no sputtering or stalling on full throttle accel from idle. Thanks!!

I so love your work bro! You better watch out if any NASCAR Roger Penske team mechanics spot your vid you just might get a contract offer on the table. You might not have the mega years of experience & knowlege in the auto engineering industry but to me all of that is immaterial. To me is how someone thinks that counts. It's not what they think. Your ability to understand how things work and how they should work is key. In other words it is your ability to solve problems that I rate. You have excellent ability to solve problems! Over here in New Zealand we are desperately in need of people like you. Why not consider coming on over when this virus thing is more under control. YOu could probably use the same spring clamps motorcycles use for that tube.

I let my car sit for about a year and now its idle speed in park and in gear are about 2 to 300 rpm over what it was. It also wont go above 2900-3000 rpm. I changed the fuel filter and checked for vacuum leaks. Im down to pulling the carb off and opening it up i think. Its a pretty aggressive 302 with te same 625 street demon

I got them from a small engine repair shop. Lawnmower/weedeater. Don’t know the size I got a assortment from them an then sized up with the old one.

Would you say a street demon is worth purchasing? I have a quadrajet but good cores are so hard to come by and parts are getting harder to find im debating picking up a street demon 625 cfm for my c10 pick 350 sbc 216/216 cam used primarily for towing not trying to race no one just want decent fuel economy

Great videos on this carb. Iv been running mine for almost 3 years with not to much problems out of it. Iv also been playing with my jets an im goin to double check that fuel line. Do you know what size you ended up using on that?

I got the 625 cfm with composite bowl, runs great out of the box, throttle response is crisp and fast, primaries run smoothly at idle and cruising, but it still runs rich at idle and WOT spits and stutters, I'm slowly adjusting secondary air flap and it seems to be making progress, any advice on the real rich idle?? It runs/drives so damn good that Im nervous to mess with air idle screws... I retarded my timing a little because it was advanced, what's your thoughts? Running it on about a medium built 97 LT1, fast ass truck but I want the full performance and the clean tune
