Convicted Fees Must Fall Activist Kanya Cekeshe is a free man. Cekeshe was released in the pre-dawn hours after being granted a special remission of sentence. He'd been serving an eight-year sentence since 2017 for trying to torch a police van during university protests. Yesterday, Abathembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo was also released on parole.
