Hi friends, I am really excited to show you our beautiful AirBnB close to Östersund in the wildness of Sweden, plus the beautiful waterfall hike we did on our first day. The area we traveled to is very remote and you barely meet any international tourists there. The reason we went there? We wanted to stay somewhere where we are just surrounded by pure nature, do hikes in beautiful forests and swim in waterfalls.
I decided to do a social media detox for the time we are in Sweden, so I can reflect on everything that happened this year and gain clarity.
If you like to be somewhere remote, you would love the area around Östersund. The best way to get there is to take a flight from Stockholm to Sundsvall and take a rental car from there. You will definitely need a car, because you need to drive to all the places around.
