Nope. Games won't beat movies because of how they are composed. More than half of the game is shooting, the rest is cutscenes. Most movies carry a good idea told by conversation and without use of guns. So in this case you would only be able to walk around and listen to what the characters are saying. Sin City, for example, could never be as good a game as it was a movie. But I certainty think games will advance is terms of storytelling.
