Beautiful voices! Monica "Mimi" Doby, Charmayne Maxena "Maxee" Maxwell and Nichole "Nicci" Gilbert! Beautiful song! And the harmony is off the HOOK! Vibing in some sca too!t Grapevyne (the actual spelling) was their other big hit in the 1990s! They are an unsung group that didn't get their due!!! There were SO many incredible groups in the 1990s. But in my opinion no girl groups could hold a candle to Brownstone! Definitely their Gospel roots rise to the TOP! There demise started when Monica left the group, initially saying it was for health reasons. She later revealed the group had some in fighting. That's too bad. But I'm glad you have wonderful reactions about these glorious, soulful voices!

Oh, how I love this song so much. This is a genre you guys need to do more of. 80-90's R & B! I think the reason that they were overlooked and didn't become AS popular as En Vogue, SWV and others is because there were so many at that time they just fell through the cracks.

I'm late to the comment party but Brownstone was everything to me back in the 90s. My goodness those voices! Their voices together were liquid gold. Please checkout their other song "Grapevine".... you will not regret it.
