Meet Artyom Ostrikov, an Astana IT University student, who participated in the Summer Research Program 2024 for the university students cohort at ISSAI.
Artyom worked in the Flood Prediction group. Under the mentorship of ISSAI Senior Data Scientist Madina Abdrakhmanova, he developed solutions for predicting flood risks in Kazakhstan. In collaboration with hydrologists from Nazarbayev University, the team collected and analyzed data for Kazakhstan.
