For almost two decades, Trinity Chapel in Knoxville TN hosted a Halloween Alternative for the community called Hallelujah Hoedown, where, instead of celebrating death and evil and darkness, we celebrated the Light of Jesus, the Author of Life and Giver of All Good Things!
Why do we celebrate death? I don't like it and I don't think anyone who has lost a loved one likes it very much either. But here we are, making it look like death and evil and the devil are the best things on the planet. This video was produced and shown to encourage the congregation of Trinity Chapel to buy candy and hot dogs, and cook chili for Hoedown, so we could bless the people in our community and encourage their kids to come and hear the Life Giving Message of Jesus and His Gift to us, Life Everlasting!

Paramount Television produced the show from January 1968 to June 1969. Star Trek aired on NBC from September 8, 1966, to June 3, 1969. It was first broadcast on September 6, 1966, on Canada's CTV network. Star Trek's Nielsen ratings while on NBC were low, and the network cancelled it after three seasons and 79 episodes. Several years later, the series became a hit in broadcast syndication, remaining so throughout the 1970s, achieving cult classic status and a developing influence on popular culture. Star Trek eventually spawned a franchise, consisting of eight television series, 13 feature films, and numerous books, games, and toys, and is now widely considered one of the most popular and influential television series of all time.
