The 2025 Geely Coolray Sport has arrived in the Philippines, and even though it has not launched yet, we get a first look at this subcompact crossover. In this Filipino car review, we take a tour of the new Geely Coolray Sport, to see if it has made enough changes to be relevant in today's times. The Geely Coolray was the crossover that opened the doors to Chinese car acceptance here in the Philippines, and it would be interesting to see what sort of changes were made to the 2025 Geely Coolray to see if it is still relevant. The 2025 Geely Coolray Sport is the top-spec trim of the Geely Coolray here in the Philippines, and the Geely Coolray price is still the same as before, at P1,299,000. There are a lot of options in this price level already, like the GAC Emzoom, the Ford Territory, the Chery Tiggo 7 pro, and the MG ZS Trophy, plus some hybrid options like the Nissan Kicks, and the Toyota Corolla Cross and Toyota Yaris Cross. The geely Coolray Sport is still one of the best-looking, but let's not forget the Lynk & Co 06, which is also the Geely Coolray's mechanical twin.

Geely should focus on their after sale services, they have great cars that is value for money but if your after sale services sucks, everything sucks.

You should check out the JAC line up. The JS4, JS6, JS8. The JS4 luxury especially at 995k.

I was about to buy this not until the new geely after sales issue came out. Worst part is it’s the same exact issue as the first one. Just so scary, liked everything about the new coolray pa naman.

All nice, all beautiful, all excited - but what is all this good for if they do not launch it? What is the reason for that? At the official Geely Phillipines web site you can find this statement under the news

"The wait is finally over. The much-anticipated new Coolray has already been released from Philippine port by end of August 2024. This awesome SUV can already be seen up-close by car enthusiasts and excited fans in Geely dealerships near them come second week of September 2024!"

This statement was released September 4th already!!
Today is Oct 13th and we can still not buy this exciting car!

i was at geely makati earlier today for my pms, and got the chance to see it... i'll be honest, i wasn't impressed. i still like the gen1 (with the fog lamps). it now doesn't have a paddle shifter, nor a tiptronic mode. it also doesn't have the adaptive cruise control and automatic emergency braking. autohold can now only be enabled via headunit. it does have rear aircon vents and a 4-cylinder engine, and wired apple carplay as well as wireless charging. overall, it really lags behind the GAC emzoom gs3, unfortunately.

Mas maganda pa din yung gen1. Classic ang datingan.
That 4 cylinder is the same engine as the emgrand, but they slapped turbo into it.
Does it still have the paddle shifters of the sport?..

Never buy from geely, they told me to wait for 4 months just to replace my AC hose, we had an greement that they refill the AC refrigirant every month till the part arrives, fast forward 2 months later, no refrigirant, nor Estimated date for the part to arrive, very disgusting after sales service

I love the interior of geely.hindi masakit sa mata like emzoom.ung emzoom ok sa exterior pero interior looks cheap at d bagay yung mga accent.ang panget ng color combination
