It's not laggy actually...this video was the earlier makes of the tablet. Take a look at later videos of the TP and you will see how fast and fluid it is.

I haven't seen any video demo on this tablet. I'm sure youtube vids run OK, but what about other codecs?

It does seem like a copycat in terms of the design of the tablet itself, but the operating system does look significantly different (and might I say better). The cameras, charging, and the fact that it will have flash sound nice as well. I prefer the portrait orientation too which is why some of the other recent tablets are not so appealing to me. The biggest issue I think will be apps (or the lack of them right now in comparison to apple or android)

WebOS looks great, but it looks laggy which is why i wont buy this tablet :(
