Truman Wetmore's "Florida" in Pensacola, FL
Well, technically the song is named after Florida Massachusetts, but the town was allegedly named for what would become the state so... In any case, I had a great time in Pensacola thanks to the Royappas, the Stringfields and all the good folks in the local Sacred Harp community and at the Archaeology Institute. It's a long story that starts with a comedy banjo routine I performed in Steve Martin's living room.
