My word, Sarah, my heart was sailing away just listening to your beautifully philosophical words and then finally, melted down as I was watching you making all these knitting friendship bracelets! How glorious!

My mom used to knit those dolls. I would love for you to do a doll knit along with us. February sounds great

I wish I had found you just a month or two sooner than I did, so that I could try and join as well. Alas, we cant have everything in life - but my heart is bursting at seeing all the thoughtfulness and love that you are pouring into k2p2. A great reminder to try and stay as lovely as I can be!

Oh Sarah I love listening to you. I'm from South Africa and every meeting with you on the net is a "heartjumping" event for me. I wish you all the best with your P2K2 event. May you be blessed and share your good spirit with everyone personal. Wish I were not living so far - I would like to meet you in person! Be blessed

I think you are amazing! You accept challenges, even though they are scary, in life and your craft projects. I could not have put the stitches on the needles after cutting the sock apart. That is one thing I am just not sure how to accomplish. The bracelets you made are a great idea. In the United States, we often purchase a rubber type bracelet with words of encouragement when people are ill. We then either share them with others or ask for a small donation to help the patient. The idea is that when you wear the bracelet you are thinking or praying for the person for whom you wear the bracelet . So, I think the idea of the bracelet is lovely as they will remember the day and you for organizing it. Great idea. Your daughter is very brave to be knitting her own sweater. She takes after you when it comes to challenges, I bet. Looking forward to Friday! Have a great week!❤

33:22 When you will be joining sock parts with a kitchener stitch, don't forget that it will add one extra row. Happened to me a few times, and I was confused why there were one extra row in my project 😅
44:00 oh, what a cute dolls! I love them! Reminds me of a bear, the same construction I made when I was a kid. Funny story. When I was 6yo my paternal grandma taught me how to knit. Then when I was 7, I was visiting my other grandma for a summer holiday, and I found this very basic recipe for that bear in a pile of old papers she was saving for her wood oven. I ask her if she has some spare wool and 5 needles i can borrow. She gave me no questions and then some time later she was amazed to see my bear ❤ she didn't even know I could knit, and that pattern wasn't very detailed (from 80's no clear patterns back then) I remember now this story and I am so proud of that creative child I was 😂 i will totally join you if you do that knit-along ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I got an advent calendar for the first time this year, but it isn’t yarn. It’s a stitch marker one and I’m so excited for Dec 1. :D In English we say you “sink your teeth into” something, so the sayings are very similar.

Hi Sarah! in the US, we "sink our teeth into it". I enjoy hearing how our two countries have the same expressions with only slight differences. It makes it easy to understand what we mean to say.

I’m so glad that I pointed out the difference in the color work sock but sorry for the extra work for you.
